Mesta Park Holiday Decorating Contest
As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to announce our annual Mesta Park Holiday Decorating Contest! Let’s deck the halls and light up the night! Transform your home into a winter wonderland and share the holiday spirit with your neighbors. Winners will receive bragging rights and a festive yard sign to display their victory and spread holiday cheer to all who pass by.
The categories are as follows:
Griswold Award
Go all out with bold, bright, and over-the-top decorations
North Pole Award
Involve your whole block, and create a display together
Best Character Use
Bring your favorite holiday characters to life
Traditional
Classic, timeless holiday decor
Mesta Park Decoration Contest Rules
Eligibility: Participation is open to all residents (rented or owned) within the Mesta Park neighborhood.
Contest Scope: The contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows visible from the exterior. Judging will be conducted from outside the residence.
Media Agreement: Participants agree to allow one or more photos of the exterior of their decorated home to be posted on the website, social media pages, and/or the Mesta Park Newsletter, as well as used in future promotional publications.
No Compensation: Participants agree that there will be no compensation of any kind for said posting or publication.
Judging Timeline: All judging will be completed from Friday, December 20th through Sunday, December 22nd.
Decoration Activation: Participants should ensure that all lights, animations, and decorations are in place and activated before December 20th.
Winners Announcement: Winners will be announced on December 23rd via the Mesta Park website, social media accounts, and Mesta Park Newsletter.
